Brenda Ho & Thom Denick's Eldritch Overload Tarot Deck

Meet Brenda Ho, an incredible artist and Thom Denick, a producer and game designer. They made the D&D inspired tarot deck Eldritch Overload in 2022, as a spiritual successor to their Adventurer's Tarot: Empress Deck project. This deck showcases the cyberpunk fantasy city Neo-Valkan populated by human, cyborg, and creature archetypes. It infuses playfulness and vibrancy into your sessions—complete with a holographic shimmer! Each card is so incredibly detailed, there's always something new to notice. Brenda and Thom are the forces behind Weird Works, an ENNIE award-winning team.

Stephanie Alia & Daniella Efe's Viator Somniorum Oracle Deck

Stephanie Alia is the talented tarot writer and producer behind the 52-card oracle deck, Viator Somniorum. This was initially a Comic-Con exclusive that sold out before the event finished. Illustrated in calming pastels by Daniella Efe, the deck draws inspiration from dream symbols, such as the fear of missing a train. Some themes, like "Movement," showcase trains traversing snowy mountains at night, while "Initiation" depicts a hand guiding towards a beacon in a portal. The deck's evocative archetypes, although different from traditional tarot structures, are perfect for readings, clarification cards, and identifying overarching themes.

Alia and Efe's Gothmancy Tarot Deck

This duo also created the punk-glam Gothmancy tarot deck, where each archetype is inspired by new wave, punk music, and goth culture. The imagery, full of easter eggs (like David Bowie as The Star card), is captivating. Even if you're new to this music genre, the visuals alone are a delight. Accompanied by a comprehensive guidebook, each card links to songs and notes on the alchemical meanings. The deck's unique color palette also makes it easy to distinguish each suit.

R. Black's The Black Deck

The Black Deck, limited to 1,000 editions and created by muralist and graphic artist R. Black, was a hit in its physical form. We're excited to have collaborated with the artist to bring this deck into the digital realm. The art style is striking—bold, high-contrast, and earthy, reminiscent of woodblock prints and poster art. While the guidebook offers Rider Waite Smith style keywords, the illustrations themselves are their own special world. The court cards have different names—mother is queen and daughter is pageand each suit in this deck features its own distinct color palette, creating unique moods during readings.

Chris Adams' Mushroom Tarot

Chris Adams, a mushroom forager and artist, created Mushroom Tarot, infusing Rider Waite Smith archetypes with an exclusively mycological twist! The cards are thoughtfully paired with mushrooms, based on Chris's personal experiences with each species, and these stories appear in the accompanying guidebook. The minor arcana, such as Cup Fungus for Cups, and court cards represented by animals like Ravens for Kings, add depth to the readings. The pen and ink drawings in this deck exude a love for nature, bringing an outdoorsy and grounded feeling to your tarot sessions.
